Approach
Greenlam follows a Structured, Partnership-led, and Community-centric approach to CSR:
- Conducting comprehensive need assessments and community consultations to identify genuine gaps and priorities in each village.
- Partnering with specialised implementing organisations that bring strong technical expertise in health, education, water conservation and community development.
- Designing multi-year programs that go beyond one-time support and focus on behaviour change, system strengthening, and local capacity building.
- Embedding initiatives within local governance structures such as schools, Panchayats, and village-level committees to align with government schemes and amplify impact.
- Ensuring inclusive participation by engaging women, farmers, frontline workers, and school communities to build strong community ownership.

EVALUATE
A comprehensive monitoring and evaluation process to track program performance is implemented:

- Baseline and endline surveys to understand the community context, measure progress, and capture behavioural change.
- Monthly field reviews with NGO partners, including field visits and structured reporting.
- Outcome and output monitoring at periodic intervals to ensure program impact.
- Stakeholder consultations with district officials, schools, farmers, and health workers to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Impact assessments at the end of every project cycle to evaluate the depth, sustainability, and long-term value of interventions.
SUSTAIN
Sustainability is woven into the design of every CSR project through:
- Training community champions who continue to drive awareness and mobilise communities even after project cycles end.
- Building and strengthening Village Development Committees, Parent Committees, Farmer Groups, VHSNCs (Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee), and SMCs (School Management Committees) to take ownership of improvements.
- Creating durable infrastructure assets and developing joint ownership, including ponds, school buildings, and smart classrooms that communities can maintain independently.
- Empowering schools and local health systems with tools, training, and practices that are embedded permanently.
- Structured handholding and phased exit planning with local institutions to ensure long-term continuity and impact.
